Foreman has officially announced Ronnie Wreyford as the city's new Marshal as of March, 1.

Wreyford comes from a long line of police experience having served as a deputy in Hempstead County and an officer with the Prescott Police Department. He had retired in 2009, but decided to come out of retirement when he learned of the Foreman Marshal position.

As head of Foreman's police force, Wreyford told Staff Reporter Jud Powell of Little River News, “I want to increase the visibility of our officers" and “I want folks to know that we are out there looking after them.”

The new Marshal also noted he plans to increase training among the city's current officers.
